HERNDON, Virginia — The base 2016 Audi A3 1.8 TFSI sedan with front-wheel drive starts at $31,825, including a $925 destination charge, reflecting a $1,030 price increase over the 2015 model.

The 2016 A3 is expected to arrive at Audi dealerships this summer.

This is a carryover model with minimal changes. They include more standard features, such as a rearview camera and parking sensors, Alu-optic interior trim and heated mirrors and washer nozzles.

The base 2016 Audi A3 2.0 TDI diesel sedan starts at $34,125, including shipping, for a $630 price increase, and the 2016 Audi A3 Cabriolet convertible is priced at $37,525, including shipping, reflecting a $1,000 price increase.

The 2016 Audi S3 sedan starts at $43,425, including shipping, for a $1,430 price increase.

Key competitors to the Audi A3 include the Acura ILX, Buick Verano and Mercedes-Benz CLA-Class.
