Porsche Secures Trademark for GT5 Name, Model Unknown

Until recently, Porsche’s GT variants have stayed within the 911 family, specifically the 911 GT3, 911 GT2, and the incredibly rare 911 GT1 homologation special. That, of course, changed with the new Cayman GT4, the most track-focused and powerful Cayman yet. Now, it looks like another Porsche model is in line to receive the GT treatment, as the automaker has been actively securing trademarks for the “GT5” name.
