According to official EPA numbers, the Mazda CX-3 tops out at 35 mpg on the highway, putting it on par with the Honda HR-V and above the Chevrolet Trax. With all-wheel drive, these numbers fall slightly to 27/32 mpg with a combined 29 mpg rating. Mazda offers all CX-3 models with a 146-hp 2.0-liter inline-four cylinder and a six-speed automatic transmission.
