Last week, Dodge took the wraps off the 2016 Viper ACR, the first club-racer-spec Viper since the last-generation ACR disappeared in 2010. It’s a monster, with upgraded suspension, brakes, tires, and aero for maximum track-day potency. Today, Dodge revealed the price tag for all this performance: $122,490 (including $2495 for the destination charge and a $2100 gas-guzzler tax). And if you want one, you can order one starting today.
Considering everything you get with the ACR that doesn’t come on the base-model, $87,000 Viper—such as carbon-ceramic brakes, ACR-specific Kumho Ecsta V720 tires capable of a claimed 1.5 g’s of lateral grip, a 10-way adjustable suspension, and enough aero bits to generate nearly one ton of downforce at full speed—that price doesn’t seem wholly unreasonable.

Given the outrageous performance numbers Dodge is claiming—and the long history of ACR-branded Dodges absolutely decimating the competition with street-legal, race-ready track-day cars—we’re betting most of these snakes will be snapped up with ferocious quickness.
